This is my library is a capstone project for the Indiana Librarian Leadership Academy. Members of the This is my library team (AKA The Library Broads) is comprised of: Carolyn Martin, Medical Librarian at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, Monica Casanova, Director of the Monticello-Union Township Public Library, Chanitra Bishop, Digital Scholarship and Emerging Technologies Librarian at Indiana University, Bloomington and Nancy Disbro, Director of the Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library.
InLLA's purpose is to "prepare the library community’s future leaders for 21st-Century challenges, the Indiana State Library’s Professional Development Committee has established the Indiana Library Leadership Academy."
As such, This is my library is a customizable promotional tool for libraries to broaden the public's perspective on libraries and raise awareness of all the different types of activities and programs that libraries are developing to meet the needs of users.
